Tonight, March 21st, we will be doing the scrapbook with the pictures the girls took through out the year.
Thursday, April 4th, we will be working on bridging activities that the girls need to do before they can become Junior Girl Scouts. We will also be doing spring registration. This means if the girls want to be Junior Girl Scouts next year this is the time to register. They do not have to register at this time. It does however make it easier than doing it in the fall. If you have any doubts if your daughter will be a Girl Scout, do not fill out the paper work.
Saturday, April 20th, which is the weekend before Girl Scout Days at King's Island, we are going to COSI. I hope there are not any objections. The deals for the hotel rooms are just not working very well. Prices for the girls are $6.50 for exhibits and $2.50 for one of the I-MAX movies. Adults are $8.00 for exhibits and $2.50 for one of the I-MAX movies. If any parents would like to go with the troop and maybe take any of their other kids let us know. We need to make reservations ASAP, please call or let us know how many in your party will be attending with us. Parents would have to pay for their tickets along with their other children's ticket (not the girls). We will need parents to register if you help us drive the girls down. This will be paid by the troop funds, since it is so far into the year.
Girl Scout Days are just around the corner on April 27th and 28th. Prices went up to $20.99 per person for one day and $33.00 per person for both days. There are campgrounds there and several inexpensive hotels around King's Island, too. That's if you wanted to do the two-day tickets. Money for anyone wanting to go is due by Friday, April 12th so it can be mailed in. The tickets will be at the Girl Scout ticket booth under Deana Downing's name.
