Who We Are...........
Gomer is a 350 member church of the
United Church of Christ. It is located about 7 miles Northwest
of Lima Ohio, just off of the Lincoln Highway (Old US Rt. 30).
We have an active Sunday School, Jr. High and Sr. High Youth Groups, three Women's Fellowships, and a Sr. Citizen's Fellowship. Music is large part of Gomer's life, and we have a wonderful Children's Choir and great Adult Choir, and a brand new Handbell Choir.
Gomer's Welsh heritage is one of its unique features. It keeps in touch with its roots through its Welsh celebrations of the Gymanfa Ganu and St. David's Day. Gomer U.C.C. is also the home-base of the Northwest Ohio Welsh Society and the singing sensation The Townsmen Trio. To find out more about these, click the links at the bottom of this page..
