MEMBERSHIP MEETING!

There will be a meeting of the membership of The Welsh Society of North-west Ohio on Sunday afternoon September 24th, 2000.at 3:00 PM in the Gomer UCC Fellowship Hall, Gomer, Ohio.

The meeting is being called to inform all members what is taking place in regards to the planned community museum.

The home which was known as "The Gomer Santa Claus House", has been purchased by John & Carla Olds, both members of WSNO. It is in their plans to turn the home over to the Welsh Society as soon as we receive Tax Exempt Status. Tax exempt status form has been completed and should be granted shortly.

A sale of the contents of the home is planned for Sat. Oct. 7, 2000 by Fetters Auction Service of Lima, Ohio. starting at 10:00 AM in the south parking lot of the Gomer UCC.
Items from the home needed for the museum due to their historical/ cultural significance will not be sold.

We are planning to offer lunch to those attending the auction and we will need a lot of help, since this will afford us an opportunity to add to the treasury.

We hope everyone will be available to help that day, either by donations of food or actual assistance.
If for some reason you are unable to attend the meeting please contact an officer to be advised as to how you can help.

We also plan to share our ideas and listen to your suggestions as how to proceed with the museum. We are also trying to plan what "name" should be given to the museum. Please bring your ideas to the meeting so brain-storming can begin.

PLEASE plan to attend, a tea will follow the planning session.
