On the Ethics of Making Claims...
You can't make claims.
That's the long and short of it. Claims come in two different varieties, both of
which are totally inappropriate.
Claim Type #1: Medical
If you are without a professional health practitioner license or decree, you
cannot make any medical claims. If someone asks you if any of our wonderful
nutritional supplements can cure or heal any specific ailment or condition, your
only appropriate response is that "I don't know...you might take the product to
the health professional of you choice and ask."
Remember that Calorad® is food, a wonderful protein based supplement that feeds
the body in a uniquely healthy way.
We have a basic rule of thumb: The only thing you can say about Calorad® is in
this manual and within your own experiences. Simply, you have the right to tell
your own story, your body's reaction to Calorad®. Outside of this, you stick with
the information in this manual.
Claim Type #2: Financial
When you present the compensation plan to either an individual or to a group, you
need to make sure that they understand the discussion of the compensation is an
attempt to clarify how we compensate people for their effort. We in no way intend
for anyone to assume that we are making any claims that everyone will generate the
volumes to create the top of the pay plan. People have an opportunity that is
totally consistent with their desire, their skills and their willingness to follow
a consistent and proven plan of attack.
