Lois Hodges is our Prayer Ministry Coordinator and Council Expediter.
"We show our love and concern for each other when we share requests and
pray for each other and for our Church.
Unity in prayer helps us grow. Three people asked to be warriors continually each week.
We have had many prayers answered: Cheryl and my dizziness is gone, Jerry
Noneman has a job, Harold's grandson is home and doing well, etc. My own
biggest prayer was that I needed help with caregiving. Fr. Mark and
Donna wanted us to live with them so they could help us. We needed a
bigger house, but we don't have the money to buy. And Josh and Carrie offered their home to us and my prayer was answered.
It reminded me of the women going to
Christ's tomb. They worried about moving the stone, but the angels had
already moved it. I thought of this scripture: Proverbs 3:6 (-18).
'Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own
insight. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight
your paths". I find this to be true and I'm sure we all will as we pray
together. God bless you as you pray."
