ANNOUNCEMENTS

WE ARE STARTING A NEW SEEKERS GROUP CATECHISM!  This
is the time to invite any friend who might be interested in Christianity to
come!  It is the perfect time for new folks to get to know Saint Stephen’s, as
well as learn about our Faith.  But it is also an excellent time for Saint
Stephen’s members to get to know the “new” folks!  Much more than just a
passing on of information, the Seekers Group is where we build friendships of
honesty and trust, pray for each other, and have fun together.  So far, Dean
Alstaetter, Sophia Sparks and her friend Julie, Tyler Deitsch, Solomon and
Hannah Beraki, Jamie Lamp, Ron and Lisa Weaver, Deborah Ionannidis,
Shelli Jackson, Xavier and Cosette, Caleb and Hannah, Presbytera Donna and
I and other members of Saint Stephen’s are hoping to be a part of the group.
We also hope to hear from the Korikians and others.  YOU, TOO!!!  The
day/time will be determined by those who make up the group.

Mark your calendars!  Saturday, July 24th, Metropolitan JONAH (our
interim bishop) is coming to our Deanery.  He will preside at a 10:00am
hierarchal divine liturgy for us, and members of Saint Stephen’s can meet him
afterwards.  He will also lead a Deanery meeting with clergy that afternoon.
Everyone is encouraged to attend, and we will carpool together!
