Created by Tom Honegger for the Virginia International Gold Cup Historic Sportscar Vintage weekend June 8-10, 2001.  Carroll Shelby was the Grand Marshal for this event and the poster depicts Shelby winning the first race at VIR in 1957.  The artwork was commissioned by event organizers and was featured on the poster and program cover. This is the original illustration rendered in pastel colored pencil on illustration board.  It is matted and framed  (frame size is 20"x 22").
